The United States portrays itself as the offended champion of goodness and freedom. Peel back the lies — look at the reality. The only thing unusual about the photos of Abu Ghraib prison is that there were photos that got out. So soak in the precious glimpse of a global reality — repeated at Guantanamo, Bagram, and a hundred other centers (including the rendition to Syria and Libya thanks to the CIA)>
